I have been going here for at least 7 years, and they never disappoint! Great food and atmosphere and the staff is always so lovely. It is a bit small, and there aren't a ton of options for restrictive diets, but it's an English pub, so that's normal. They do try to accommodate when possible, however.
Busy midweek stop with limited parking behind the restaurant and other nearby businesses. There is no real host here so you just find or wait for a free table, outside, inside or at the bar. There was prompt and friendly service at the bar with a nice selection of quality local craft beers and ciders. The blue cheese and bacon chips were hot and fresh. We also ate a Mediterranean salad (great cheese and olives on it) and fish and chips (exceptionally crispy and light batter). I would have preferred something other than thin fries however. At the time of writing this place also has Anchor Steam on tap! Recommended.
I love this place. Yes it’s small, yes parking is hard, but it’s worth it. Great staff, food and beverages. My favorites are the London Broil salad, the fish and chips, and the sticky toffee pudding!
Literally the best Lamb Burger I have ever had in my life. Man it's good to see good service and good food are not a thing of the past in Athens but thriving at The Royal Peasant... Just awesome
I just want to say that I thoroughly enjoying this restaurant. The Georgia game just ended and I was afraid my son and I wouldn’t get a table. Much less a parking space. Got both! It was busy but Lisa was on it and made our stay enjoyable. She suggested the pork belly/Korean bbq and it was delicious!!! For the price/size, very impressive. We also had the royal burger and the fish and chips. Everything was delicious. I will definitely recommend this place to others and will be back!
This place is good, if you like fish. Unfortunately, I do not but my colleague loved the fish and chips. The appetizer was good, but the typical chips with blue cheese, etc. It is a quaint little place but parking is horrible, so get there early.
It was our first time here. The atmosphere is so nice. The food was delicious. We ordered a royale burger, lamb curry, and lamb stew with rice. A+
Simple menu, good food, fair prices. We got the fish and chips (pictured) and the pie of the day. I look forward to going back and trying some of the other offerings on the menu
